The company

YouReply Teknoloji Ticaret Eğitim Danışmanlık Araştırma Organizasyon A.Ş. is a technology company building software for different stages of the research process. YouReply Qualitative (also known as YouQualitative) is the qualitative coding and thematic analysis product in that family.

Product family

Under the YouReply name we build products for different steps of the research workflow: survey design and data collection, quantitative analysis, qualitative analysis, feedback analysis and research project management. Each product works on its own; the qualitative product can import open-ended answers from the survey product.

The principles we build on

• The decision stays with the researcher. AI suggests codes and themes; a suggestion that has not been accepted never enters a count, a matrix or a report.
• Every finding is anchored. An excerpt is stored with its position in the document, and a suggestion that does not match the source text cannot be accepted.
• We write down our limits. We do not describe features the product does not have: today it does not compute an inter-coder agreement coefficient and does not process audio or video files.
• AI is optional. It can be switched off per study, and all manual coding keeps working when it is off.
